A Family finds Healing through Free Healthcare and Spiritual Care: Adrianna’s Story

“They cared for our physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We left feeling seen, supported, and filled with hope.”

Adrianna brought her family to Fully Alive Community Health so they could both receive care. It was the first time her mother had been able to see someone for her dental needs, and she had a wonderful experience.

What touched her most was that the care extended beyond her physical needs. People took the time to pray over her, creating a meaningful spiritual connection. She was moved by the beauty of people gathering in prayer and taking the time to care so deeply for others.

For Adrianna and her family, the experience was a powerful reminder that true healing involves more than the physical—it also embraces emotional and spiritual well-being. They left feeling cared for, encouraged, and filled with hope.

Thank you to our generous donors and partners who make this whole person care possible, and to the churches and community organizations that welcome us into their neighborhoods and host our clinics. Your partnership helps bring free healthcare, compassionate support, and hope to families throughout our community.

Cared for After the Fire—and found Care Again: Rochelle’s Story

“When she finished, I cried tears of joy—the relief from the pain was immediate.”

In the painful days following the 2025 Altadena wildfires, Rochelle was caring for her husband while quietly enduring a toothache so severe it brought her to her knees. When her church hosted a free medical clinic through Fully Alive Community Health—just across the street from her home—she walked over seeking help. She left not only free from pain, but also feeling cared for, supported, and hopeful.

    That experience stayed with her.

As Rochelle continued recovering from the lasting impact of the fires, she sought out our clinics again to address another important health need. This time, she received her first eye exam in 10 years and two pairs of glasses. She left smiling, grateful, and able to see more clearly.

Rochelle’s story reminds us that recovery does not end when the flames are extinguished. For many people affected by the 2025 wildfires, healing is a long journey that requires continued care, compassion, and support.

Thank you for standing alongside Rochelle and the many individuals and families still rebuilding their lives. Your support makes it possible for us to continue showing up—with the care people need, for as long as recovery takes.

  • Meet Dove: Our New Disaster Response Unit

Meet Dove: Our New Disaster Response Unit

We’re proud to introduce Dove, Fully Alive Community Health’s new stand-alone Disaster Mobile Unit, designed to bring care, stability, and hope where they are needed most. Dove is a self-contained mobile response unit built to operate independently when local infrastructure has been damaged or disrupted.

One of Dove’s most unique features is its ability to generate its own power. When its solar “wings” expand, they capture solar energy, allowing Dove to serve as a mobile power source in areas where electricity may be unavailable. Along with providing medical triage, water, power, and communications support, this self-sustaining design allows our team to remain on the ground and serve communities even when traditional infrastructure is down.

Dove’s name reflects what we hope Dove will bring wherever it deploys: help, healing, and hope in the midst of crisis.

We are incredibly grateful to our partner, Direct Relief, whose generosity and shared commitment to disaster response made Dove possible. Their partnership strengthens our ability to show up when communities need us most—bringing critical resources, compassionate care, and hope directly to those impacted by disaster.
